Author Video Instructions

Authors are required to upload a pre-recorded video for all poster and lecture presentations.

Deadline for presentation videos: Monday, April 8

All presentations must be in English

A video upload is required for all presenters (virtual and in-person). In addition to playing the videos onsite for virtual presenters, the videos will be used for on-demand viewing by registered delegates for 30 days post-conference, backups for last-minute speaker changes to virtual and, subject to author discretion, for permanent access in the UFFC Archives.

LAUS will take place as a hybrid conference. In-person presentation is highly encouraged if any authors from the paper are able to attend. For virtual presenters, the pre-recorded videos will be played back for in-person attendees. Live Q&A opportunities for virtual presenters are being determined and will be finalized soon.

Instructions for Video Recording

Our recommended approach to recording a compatible video from the content displayed on your computer screen and voice recording via the computer microphone is to record the presentation using Zoom, available to users on most platforms and in most countries.

Instructions for recording your presentation with PowerPoint:

For authors who are unable to access Zoom for free, you may use the free software OBS, which allows also to capture simultaneously yourself while speaking and your slides: https://obsproject.com/

Guidelines for preparing your video:

Duration (Poster Presentations): 5 minutes max

Consent Form

Authors must view this release form and check the consent box at the bottom of the submission form so that LAUS can make available your presentation during and after the conference. This is required due to the hybrid format of the conference.
